Anina believes that art can be a powerful tool for promoting sustainability and inspiring change. By using upcycled fabric, Anina is able to create unique and impactful pieces called Cajas that promote the importance of sustainable practices in the creative industry. The Caja concept was birthed initially as an installation art (Agua Caja) for Fashion Revolution’s Walk Through Exhibit to show fast fashion’s impact on our planet. At present, the Cajas evolved into a personal project with a goal of bringing sustainable pieces of art to every home: #CAJAINEVERYCASA
Through this initiative, Anina aims to raise awareness about the impact of the fashion industry on the environment and inspire others to adopt more sustainable practices. By using upcycled fabric for her artwork, Anina is able to give new life to materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.
