Handwoven stories from salvaged threads
Cajas are tactile works of art made from upcycled fabric — each one a quiet rebellion against waste, and a meditation on beauty born from what’s been left behind. What began as an installation for Fashion Revolution’s Walk Through Exhibit has since evolved into a personal project: an offering of sustainable, soulful art for every space.

Rooted in the Spanish-Filipino word for “box,” Caja holds meaning — a vessel, a keeper, a container of memory and reflection. Each piece is hand-stitched from discarded textiles, repurposed with intention, and framed to be cherished as a modern heirloom.
From installation to intimate artwork, this series continues to raise awareness on the impact of fast fashion while inviting conscious, artful living. With every piece, we move closer to the vision of #CajaInEveryCasa — a world where art speaks gently, and sustainability lives in our walls.
