I partnered with Adobe Stock!
What’s up, internet world? It’s been 4 years since I last updated this blog (is blog still a thing?) and today I felt like writing. I wanted to share that last 2022, I got an Adobe Stock Advocates Grant for my Digital Philippine Flora library project where I created around 375++ assets which are now up on Adobe Stock! I wanted to highlight the underrated yet equally beautiful and diverse species that we have here in our country, to raise awareness on conservation issues as some of the plants I painted are already endangered.
Every element was handpainted using watercolors and then digitized using Adobe Photoshop. It was an intense month of painting on top of 3-5 years of research (I was already listing plants on a file). In the Philippines, we have over 18,000 species of plants so if I’m being completely honest, I haven’t even scratched the surface of painting all for my library project. In any case, I’m still building and populating this library bit by bit, to include Phiilippine birds (and eventually other endemic animals as well). I’m happy to make progress!!!
Here are some of my favorites from the project:
The entire collection consists of botanical illustrations, plant portraits, botanical posters, patterns, invitation templates, alphabet, and more - all with different Philippine plants and flowers! Download and use the assets for your presentations, projects, gift cards, educational materials, templates - THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!
